Abstract Student burnout is a serious problem in higher education. It associated with harmful consequences, such as decreased engagement, performance, and motivation, which can lead to dropout. The job demand-resource model of comprehensive framework grasp the factors related emergence burnout. Although numerous studies claim its suitability explaining work environments, applicability educational context less explored. study aimed analyze structure reliability newly developed University Demand-Resource Questionnaire (UDRQ) explore links between subscales symptoms student Using online survey method, 743 Hungarian undergraduate students participated data collection. version Maslach Burnout Inventory was used addition UDRQ. In analysis procedure, confirmatory factor analysis, correlation structural equation modeling were utilized. identified five-factor both demands resources.
